The stock flywheel is a dual mass which is pretty heavy at about 25 Lbs if I remember correctly. The JWT flywheel is 15Lbs so you get a great weight saving there.

I know of only a few of the 370z's that have done them but there has been many of the G37 and 07-08 350z guys that have put them on and really liked them.

OK, if there are 370z's out there then could you tell us how it went? How does the synchro rev match system handle the lighter flywheel. Others and myself are very curious to find out what happens.

From what I have heard the Rev match works just like it did with the stock flywheel. The revs are faster and the motor responds quicker

The only negative I have heard is the noise from going from a dual mass flywheel to the single light weight flywheel. You will get some chatter and noise but the benefit from the quicker revs and shifting far out weighs the slight noise increase

Wow, I was hoping it would eliminate some noise

Mine sounds like an F'N cement mixer and I have the clunk and chatter when pushing in the clutch from 1st to 2nd or if I"m cruising a parking lot or stop and go traffic, while in first if I push the clutch in. Taken it to the dealer, and they are telling me that it's normal,

haven't went to another dealer yet for a 2nd opinion. Really takes the fun out of driving the car, if I push the clutch in really slowly it doesn't make the clunk sound. Could this be the Hydraulic throw out bearing??

Yeah the clunk is not normal at all. That might be a throw out bearing or maybe even a loose mount when they put it back together.

The cement mixer is normal and will get better over time

I have one on my 07 roadster and just love it! It removes the lifeless soft feel of the stock clutch and makes a real difference in driveability.

I'm with minicobra. F**k all that clutch chatter. I came from an 06 mustang gt with a centerforce dual friction, and it didn't make nearly as much noise as the STOCK clutch and flywheel on the 370z. And dual frictions are known for noise. Make a quieter clutch and flywheel setup and maybe we can talk.
