Are the pads in this kit as good/better that Hawk HP+'s? Heard those are pretty standard ones to get for upgraded brakes.

Far better in pretty much every arena.
- 4 times the lifespan
- Quicker response times in cold weather
- Full Carbon-ceramic construction
- Low noise, low brake dust
- Developed for mid to heavier weight sport/compact vehicles.

The ME-20 set is suitable for both street and track, which features strong and yet stable mu levels at high temperatures while maintaining low wear. They have been developed for highly competitive touring cars focused on driving technique. Popular in BTCC, WTCC, PWRC, International Rally, etc.

... In my personal experience with Hawk, Ferodo, Project Mu, and Endless, the HP and HP+ were the absolute worst set of brake pads I had ever used.

Ok,thanks. If I probably won't be tracking the car often, but would still like something better than stock pads before going with a complete BBK upgrade, which would you say would be the best pads to go with if not the HP+'s?

The SS-Y would be the best in comparison to the Hawk HP+.
