What's the Secret?
I have now received a second bad brake pedal from Chip at RWCIS. It does not fit the car's original pedal. That's because it does not have enough of a curve--just like the first one he sent me--so if it's flush along the top of the car's pedal there is a 1/8" gap along the bottom (or vice-verse). I hope that makes sense.
So is there a secret to getting the correct pedal? |

Just ordered a pedal set from SRP with the dead pedal for my recently acquired 2011
370Z with auto. Can't believe Nissan only used the aluminum trimmed pedal for dead pedal in base models, even with Sport pkg., although with no XM or bluetooth either I guess I'm not surprised. My wife's Hyundai Elantra has all that and heated seats... in a $19K car, and OEM aluminum pedals for her car were only $39 on ebay from Hyundai in Korea! Got the satin finished set and 20% off total price with code "cadillacowners".

I just did it and it worked fine for me.
Make sure you select your SURFACE FINISH OPTIONS and then enter CADILLACOWNERS in coupon code box and then "apply".

Figured I'd post this here. If you are planning on doing serious racing, I would HIGHLY recommend the OMP pedal set. This differs from the pedal sets others have posted on here in a few ways
1) The brake pedal has a guard on the right side so that your right foot cannot slip behind the brake pedal while coming off of the accelerator These are the only pedals I know of with this safety feature. 2) The brake and clutch pedals are non-slip, whereas the throttle has a smooth finish that makes it easier to slide onto the throttle. 3) The set is cheap OMP Pedal Sets - OMP Racing Pedal Sets
