Repped as i will now be using this how to again to uninstall the AMS, thinking of going TWM next.

Damn i wish i would have read this before buying the B&M. I have a major issue with filing that plate down. Thank you for the excellent write up, i am going to sell my B&M and buy this one. Thanks again.

Default Alternate Option:

Everything written above is spot on, just wanted to add a way to get that knob out of the way early and avoid all the vice work and make removing all the boots and junk easier.

Tools needed:

1.) Strap Wrench
2.) Elbow grease

How hard is it if you just want to install an after market knob?? Is there a DIY on that?

I know this is a very old thread, but why are the pics so blurry and what's with the camera image covering half the pic? I was looking for info on shifter knob replacement. I have a neat looking pistol grip from Browning In want to install. So if anyone knows of a better thread I would like a heads up.
