DIY: LED Install Reverse, License Plates, Trunk, and Map Lights

I ordered some LED replacements for my reverse, license plates, trunk, and map lights.(Thanks to Thirdgearperformance here on the forum) Here's a quick DIY for all of them with lots of pics!! It took me probably 15-30 min total to do all of them. I didn't unplug the battery for this but for safety if you want to you can unplug the battery.

Reverse Lights

Here is the DIY link to remove the tail lights.

Once you have the tail lights removed you twist out the reverse light, pull out the old bulb, replace with the new LED bulb, and twist back in! Plug the light back into the harness and check to make sure you have the bulb plugged in properly. If it doesn't come on try flipping the polarity by turning the adapter over. Repeat this for the other side.

Map Lights

With a flat head screw driver carefully pop the white covers off.

Unplug the old bulb and install the new LED bar. If it doesn't come on try flipping the polarity by turning the adapter over.

Do this for both sides.

License Plate Lights

Pop the light fixture out from above the license plate. Twist out the bulb, replace the old bulb with the LED, and pop the fixture back into place. Do the same for the other side. If it doesn't come on try flipping the polarity by turning the adapter over.

Trunk Light

Pop the trunk light out with a screw driver.

Unplug the housing and disassemble the fixture.

Replace the old light with the new LED. Plug everything back in and test to make sure it works. If it doesn't come on try flipping the polarity by turning the adapter over.

Do you need to remove the entire tail light to switch out the reverse lights? Also, where can I get a set?

Thanks!

Weather trim, and trunk plastic covers to get to the tails lights and remove them. It's something you don't remove very often but it's a PITA just to switch out bulbs.
