Are there any holes to be drilled, or did I miss that?

The hood bulge isn't much, some people probably wouldn't notice.

Here is the video,

In the video you mention before and after modification. What modification did you make?

I heated the plastic cover to remould it, also shaved the plastic near the foam. I'll try to take a photo later.

I want to install these myself, but I am just as anal as Galeforce about lines...I really don't want to modify things that much

Did you put the ball end above or below the plastic and rubber when you mounted it to the fender?

My passenger side is fine, but the driver's side is up just enough to feel a difference. Pressing down lightly on the seam seats the hood along that edge. I've thought of trimming the rubber layer, which, along with the plastic tab, I put above the bolt/ball end. I'm just a little uncertain, since I can't simply look in and see what's interfering with what, so I am looking for ideas.

Thanks for your help.

If you have to trim at all, it's not that big of a deal. Go for it. The result is well worth it.

I purchased these recently and decided to install them today. While setting things up my son decided to insert the wrong end of the strut on to the mount that goes on the hood. Now I can get the damn thing apart. Any suggestions?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...aeba40fdb2.jpg
