Default Replacement of Base Spare With Sports Pkg. Spare

*edited*

Hi All,

The first mod of my Z is the exchange of the Spare Tire to the Sports Pkg 18" , so it can accomodate future upgrade to a BBK. So far I've found out the difference in the spare compartment is the following:

* Spare Tire (replaced Base Steelie 17x4"rim with 18x4" enkei Sports Wheel)

*Aditional Spacer betwen Chasis Floor and wheel (part# 84978W) *Could someone take a pic?*

* Spare tire Locking Nut? (dont find the part# and correct naming Got the longer one for sports wheel)

*There seems to be a difference between the Spare Cover, Base Spare Cover has an Soft foam Spacer Glued In to make up for the dimensions of the steel spare vs the sports.) I removed the glued soft foam spacer and the fitment is perfect.

I think my spare is shifting under acceleration even tough the lock nut is tightened.

I would like to see the spacer between the sports spare tire and floor so i can verify part# and order to complete retrofit guide.

You know i gotta say that the sport package spare is just about the most bad a$$ spare tire i have ever seen.

You know the base spare will fit on the rear. So if you have a flat on the front you can just move the rear tire to the front and then put the spare on the rear.

I wound up with an extra spare (yes the slick sport spare) via mix up at the dealership when this happened less than 20 miles after driving it off the lot:

PM me an offer if you want. Although shipping to Guam...
