DRL on with headlights MOD

Has anyone done this on one with nav? My nav display would not turn to the night time mode as the DRL always on. I believe the nav display turns

My nav display would not turn to the night time mode as the DRL always on. I believe the nav display turns dark when the DRL is off(when the headlights are on). I'd have to manually change the display to 'dark'.....
