Any more pics of the lights on together? Or some night shots?

I'd almost want to wire this up with a switch, in case I didn't want them on I could turn them on/off at my leisure.

Thank you. I just did this mod on my 13'. Most difficult part was removing the fuse box (IPDM, I hate acronyms). Had to use a right angle flat bar to pry the fuse box out of the metal bracket. Very difficult to remove. A picture of a spade clip would have helped me.
The socket it plugs into did not lign up with the plastic holding it. A little persuasion with a couple of screw drivers did the trick. I love the way it looks, wanted to do this since I got the car. steve

I was just about to ask you guys to post a pic of the connector that you guys are using. Is it completely flat or do the ones with a U shape work also?

I removed the relay to the right of where you plug in the wire to see the size of the termimal. About 1/4 to 5/16 wide flat spade. Sorry I don't have one to measure.

Id like to have just a switch that turns on or off the DRL independant of the head lights.

Easy, make a switch in your cup holder area and (hard) disconnect the factory LEDs from the factory harnesses and run hot and ground to your switch and the body. Wire it to the battery so it's always available.

Just did this a few days ago. Thanks for the write up. (It was fairly easy)

Just in case anyone is wondering the DRL's come on as soon as the engine is on. Previously it was when you disengaged the E Brake.

My only concern is that these may be too bright for night time use.

I walked back about 50 yards and man were they bright. A lot brighter than the headlights. I wish there was a way where we could adjust the power of the DRL's
(Come on at 50% power when the headlights are on)

Do you guys think their too bright or am I just being paranoid? I don't want to be that driver on the road blinding everyone.
