You messed up somewhere if the radio is working. Loose or bad fuse? Bad splice? (You might not have pushed the wire into that opaque blue connector when you crimped).

You messed up somewhere if the radio is working. Loose or bad fuse? Bad splice? (You might not have pushed the wire into that opaque blue connector when you crimped). Polarity incorrect going to the detector? BTW, you don't need a 10-amp fuse for a radar detector, more like 1.5 to 3.
Do you have a multimeter or test light to see if you're getting power to the new wire? |
