Plasti dip idea
Hey everyone, I have plasti dipped my emblems and turn signals and just had a thought. I like the matte finish that plasti dip offers but I think that a gloss black would look cool too. Do you think that applying a coat of like spray clear lacquer to the plasti dip would give it a bit of shine but still retain the awesome qualities of the plasti dip? Good idea? Doesn't work? Thanks for the feedback in advance.

Why don't you use the plasti dip glossifier? If you just try and use a regular clear coat you would have to do a near perfect mask job.

Thanks this is exactly what I was looking for.

Yep, glossifer works great.
Check out www.dipyourcar.com for ideas. Their prices are a bit steep for each bottle. About $3 more then the stores. |
A local Walmart usually carries the glossifier :)

if not, then try finding a seller on Amazon. dipyourcar.com usually sales cheap but they charge like $9 to ship.

I tried ordering a can of red from DYC and it was coming out to $18-$19 with shipping included. Found a seller from Amazon and got it for $14. |
