Default Double din wiring

Installing a kenwood ddx373bt, i have the metra 70-7553 wiring harness. The wires are all color matched to the ones on the radio I haven't soldered them yet just twisted together to make sure everything works. when I pop the start button back on and turn the car on the head unit does not come on. Do I need to connect the ground wires together or ground them to the chasis? I read with this harness I don't need to do that Or am I forgetting a part.

Also the light green parking wire has a connector on the end but I don't see where it connects.

* there's a million posts on how to install the radio but none on the actual wiring( which is the hard part) unless i just can't find them
