I just did a DIY the other day that gives you an interior power point that is switchable with the headlights. You might want to run a volt tester to see how much current is available but it runs the rear Fog light with no issues. and only takes 2 mins to get to.

Why didn't you wire them to the dome light so when the door shuts they go out with the regular dome light.

![]() Because I still want them to come on at night when the headlights come on. If I wired them to the dome light they'll only be on when I open the door. They give a nice touch to the Z at night, imho. |

I am interested in using this power point. But how can i make sure i don't overload the wiring going to that heated seat switch with both Fog light and under dash lighting?

The switches are on a 10A fuse and all the current goes through them (SE-11 of 2009 FSM), so it shouldn't be a problem unless you are using a lot of lights and both seat heaters on high at the same time. Use LEDs and you will have plenty of juice in the seat heater circuit.
