REQUEST: Footwell LED wiring DIY

I installed white LEDs under the dash when I installed the illuminating kick plates. But mine run off the kick plates so they only go on when my door opens.

I installed white LEDs under the dash when I installed the illuminating kick plates. But mine run off the kick plates so they only go on when my door opens. The easiest way would probably be to splice the power wire going to one of the outlets and then add a switch. I know its not going to turn on with your head lights but it is alot easier. You might be able to find the wire that goes from your head light switch to your head lights but that would be to much for me. Then again I am not a fan of me personally doing electrical things to my car.
