The first link is useless to me, my lip is completely different than the stillen lip.
The second and fourth links are a few posts talking about how to do it, but nothing substantial. The third link was ok, but again my lip is quite different than that one. But thanks anyways. |

Looks great. I believe my lip is the exact same.... Sunline replica?
It's a very simple install but you need to take your bumper off for best results, and what I mean by that is the lip will flex a little but if you try to "wrap" it around your bumper while its on the car you may crack it when installing, you can't just slide it up from underneath either, won't work if you may have thought that. If you remove your front bumper which only takes a matter of minutes, you then can flex the bumper a little and put the lip on easily without flexing the lip and risk damaging it. Then screw a couple bolts on each side in your fender liner area of you bumper and that's enough to hold it. I never used any adhesion material on mine, trust me with this lip it's snugg, when its on, IT'S ON!! The only reason to try and use any adhesion goodies would be if there's not perfect fitment (gaps) that you want to close by using something to hold the lip to your bumper. This should help some of you guys, I highly suggest doing this yourself. Much more rewarding and you don't have to spend any $$$ on install

^ Thanks man, yeah its a sunline rep made by seibon. I had my shop throw it on for me, didnt cost much and gave me peace of mind that it was on securely. They also didnt use any adhesives but offered to use some black silicone to fill the small gaps in fitment. I had them hold off since I'm waiting to get my CF fang covers in, then we will see how much modification I have to make to the lip to get it to fit, Im hoping its just a little grinding.

I have the fang cover and the lip and it fits perfect, almost like if I didn't have the fang cover there would be a gap it works really well together, but I suppose it varies from lip to lip with these replicas.

Yeah thers about a 1/8" gap through most of the lip that would touch the fang cover, but in the corners it actually fills the gap, so ill just probably have to grind the corners a bit. Ive never worked wit CF like that before so I hope I dont screw it up!

I love this lip. I will be making a 16 gauge skid plate for mine this weekend. Car sits aggressively low and to extend the life of the lip, my answer are these skid plates.
