I've puled mine of plenty of times and theres no way for them to have done anything for it to stop working.
1. I would check to make sure there's washer fluid for one 2. I would try to remove one of the hoses leading to the squirt nozzles to make sure the washer motor is working If you do get water to shoot when you hit the washers? The squirt nozzles need to be cleared.
