how can i reset the ECU? no search results

simple question, how do i reset the ECU? i dont like the way my car "learned" the shift points, since i was playing around in manual mode during break in, and i just want to start fresh and have it reset. i searched the forums and came up empty, and i did my best on category selection, hope DIY is ok. please help, thanks to anyone who posts.

Disconnecting the Negative seems to work well to kill that crap!

just read something on that link about resetting the windows? not sure what they mean, but could i have problems with the windows after disconnecting the battery?

Roll the window down and hold for 5-10 sec, roll up and hold for 5-10 seconds

Thanks for link. I was just thinking about this the other day. Got it reset on my 2nd try (similar to when I did reset on previous 6th gen Maxi) tonight.

I'm to lazy to disconnect battery and fool with the windows and all the other settings.
