DIY: Cleaning up a scraping front spoiler
So I know it has been brought up before and most of us lowered people use razor blades to clean the frayed plastic off of the front sport spoiler, but I started using a de-burring tool and it works MUCH better. Takes 1-2 swipes and only pulls off the frayed material. Leaves a super clean finish. Here's a really crappy video for ya:

Nice, good post... I do that at least once a month.. Should put in DIY area, might get more hits..

Sand paper works to. This works as well if not better.

Thanks m3chhawk :tiphat:
and thanks Trips for moving it where I see it  |
Sorry about that Trip.
I've used sandpaper too and this works much better. When not holding a camera, I can typically swipe the entire spoiler in one pass. Literally takes 10 seconds. |
I use a really sharp knife and it works great if you have a steady hand.

Nice idiot proof process...good for people like me. Where did you get the tool from? :tiphat:

I have used both sandpaper and a razor blade. I like the razor blade because it's quicker, but I have to go slow to get a straight line. This looks, as coon-azz mentioned, idiot-proof

I got this one from a friend that works at a machine shop, but you can find them just about anywhere
