Osiris Pro Tuner Walkthrough
I've went looking for information on this before posting but couldnt find anything solid.
I recently purchased the Osiris Tuner (Pro Version), when I probably didnt need it. But I was curious about a few things that I can't figure out. 1. How do I apply the liscense so I can use/flash my ECU? 2. How do I send the right schematics to UpRev through the eTunes service they provide? Im a newbie when it comes to tuning and the software. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

I really doubt you got a Pro Cable but only the Tuner version. |

@ OP: Have you looked at the manual for Osiris yet? I got the tuner edition about a month ago and by just following the manual was able to flash the license onto the ECU without a problem. Also if you don't have the proper ROM file based on your ECU part number you'll need that before you start.

You order the Tuner edition for that price NOT the Pro edition. And to answer your question all you get is the cable. The software has to be downloaded from Uprev's website. You can find the manual there too.

I suppose I got the the "Tuner" edition mixed up with the "Pro" term.
The last thing I have a question about. To flash my ECU I have to have a ROM loaded. Since I have the Tuner version, I have to develop my own right? |

Read the user guides and you should get a pretty good idea what to do. Email the guys who sold you the cable for the correct rom files once you've got it hooked up. On a side note I'm really tired of shops selling this stuff without at least pointing customers in the right direction... you spent $700 with them, a simple email with some instructions would go a long ways. |

While I agree with this to a point, if a person is going to spend their hard earned money on a DIY type product like this don't you think a little research is in order?

as far as making sure if you did got the PRO version look into the cable manager and if it look like mine then you are a lucky one , getting the Pro version cable require mostly to have a shop and being trainned or an extensive needs for it, since it give some feature that shouldnt be given to the general public. |

I agree, i researched and downloaded the software and manuals. The only thing i was confused about was uploading a ROM file because I had none. I just didnt know that they had to email me that as well. Simple misguidance.
