for those of you that are using 194 or 168 LED's to replace the factory incandescent bulbs in the maplight housing, have you had any issues with not enough resistance causing some kind of circuit related problem(s), such as burnt delay timing relay and such?

thanks.

Sorry for the late response, but I have not noticed any delays or anything.

I'm using these as my LEDs

194 LED Bulb - 15 SMD LED Wedge Base Tower | LED Landscape Lighting | Super Bright LEDs

I can try to take a video for you Mr. Kenchan if you want to see how they are.

I've heard that certain LEDs will stay dimly lit even when 'off', but I've never noticed such a thing.

Thanks! No need for vid. I was just wondering since I hear issues with not enough resistance when using wedges on markers and such. yah, I hope I don't have that hanging light issue... I don't want any additional drain while car is off.

My led's are supposed to be coming in tomorrow. I hope they work

What brand did you end up going with?

I just remembered that the only problem I did have a slight issue of them not seating properly and they would flicker because of it, but after a while, I got them to work OK and no more problems. The trunk light one however I might have got a faulty one because that one has a mind of its own.
