Thumbs up DIY: GTR Clear Lenses Install

Here's my first DIY contribution. It's simple to do, replacing the factory smoked lenses with the OEM GTR clear ones. Why would someone replace them? Because:

a) they're from a GTR (automatic )
b) it matches with with trunk light

Difficulty level - 1
Time needed - Less than 5 minutes
Tools needed - thinnest flat head screwdriver you have, GTR clear lenses

First things first, work at your own risk! I'm not responsible if you scratch, chip, or break anything while you do this.

Here's what you'll need:

OEM Nissan GTR lenses (with part numbers provided)
26432-JF00A (Left Side)
26431-JF00A (Right Side)

I used a Snap-On flat head screw driver. Whatever the thinnest, skinniest one you have will do. Do NOT use any super thick flat head as it will not fit.

Removed from packaging:

Stock VS GTR:

First, you use your screw driver, and slide it in any corner of the lights. There should already be some small indentation for you to slide it in and pop it out easier. Work slowly to pop out one corner at a time, and eventually the cover will come off. Once that's off, just simply pop the GTR one in and you're done!

Some more pics:

Please note: I've already had LEDs installed so that's why the light is white. Unfortunately I could not find my stock bulbs to put in and take pictures with. Also, the car is in a garage so I do not have day time pics at this time.

Factory covers:

GTR vs Factory:

All done!

First Impressions:
It does seem brighter a bit since the lens isn't frosted anymore, but it's not noticeable by much. HP gains are no where to be found even though I installed a GTR part but at least it does look better IMO.
