fog light HELP
 
Today in trying to install my new EVO-R foglight and durring the install one of the #10 nuts on the stack light just keeps on spinning like the stud broke free and not letting the nut come off I do know there is alot of locktight on the nuts how am I suppsoed to break the nut free??

I completely broke off the lens and drilled to get to the head the of the bolt , And used needle nose plies to hold the head of the bolt

And this did not damage the bumper at all?

Just hold the dummy light while working on it since the diffusers kinda flimsy

another question do i use the black plastic bracket with the new light or do i just put the light ino the bumper??

If you're replacing it with the nissan actual fog light? then yes.

I'm not sure on the EVOR version

A Notice to all: This type of removal is only in the event the prior attempt of heating the nuts trying to melt some of the locktite to loosen the nut FAILS. :(

I recommend to try this first prior to basically destroying the lense

I had to do the same thing, but I had a lot more plastic shavings, lol, SUCH a BÍTCH... I cursed every family member of the guy at Nissan who decided to put so much thread locker on those fúcking things...

I still hope he/she dies... Along with the person who decided, oh, lets run the wiring, but you can't use it...

does anyone know if i need to use the black part off of the stock light to in stall the EVO-Rb light or do i just put the new light in????

Looking at the DiY? there are no mounting bolts

I think its just stuck on?

I'd use the back part just as a just in case...

I put the black back price back in, just to have it there and to protect the wiring.

Yeahhhhhh... I remember saying its really easy to steal, I think it is just double sided taped on there
