turning off all of the VDC functions?
I know there are many threads about this but i couldnt find one that shows how to wire a switch to turn off the bosh sensor so with that said, Do any of you guys have pictures on how to wire a switch to the Bosch sensor so it turns off all of the VDC functions?
Thanks in advance! |
It's a G/Yaw sensor and, supposedly, you can get to it by pulling out the cup holder and reaching under the parking brake. If your hands are too big, you'll need to disassemble the center console.

i know that i was wondering if anyone tried to wire a switch for it so you could turn it on and of whenever you want.

If you are curious: Pin 1 = ground; Pin 2 = BUS-L (signal to ABS control unit); Pin 3 = BUS-H. Power comes from fuse #45 (IPDM) which also supplies the steering angle sensor. |
Alright thank you, so I can just splice into the green wire making it go to a switch to be able to control it

Since the Steering Angle sensor is in the steering wheel/column, you shouldn't have to worry about the green wire supplying power to it, but you never know until you try. If there is another wire at the same pin on the connector as the green wire, you _may_ have to move that other wire to the hot side of the switch in order to keep the Steering Angle sensor powered. |
alright ill tell you if it works after i try it.
