Great write-up! I just did this with a credit card and three or four minutes of my time. My 09 didn't have any 10mm screws holding the panel on either—Just the clips.
It fixed the sticking problem, and it's not any more difficult to close. ETA: A buddy and I did this again last night on a 2010 while removing the window tinting, and it had the 10mm screws. Last edited by Noveske_; 08-08-2015 at 04:52 PM. |

I have a 2012 Z and in here in Australia we get as standard, amongst other things, a rear windscreen wiper and the non Nismo smaller wing. I haven't looked yet but I wonder if having those counters the need to have the weight.
