You can get them from the retrofit source.
Morimoto CCFL Angel Eyes - Accessories from The Retrofit Source Inc

I'm not sure about the size, but I think the lenses are 3'', which is the same as the 350z. I believe the 350 also used 95mm.

It's also here:

I had planned on doing this mod, but have since decided to just black out my headlights and go after a stealth look.

Anyway, I wired up a couple LED strands but won't be using them. If anyone is interested they are listed in the for sale section, just do a search for my username and they should come up.

I recently tackled this and it took a few days, but saved a ton. I worked on the headlights all week after work and total cost..........Less that $20

After I took apart the headlights, I applied the Krylon Fusion Satin and installed the LEDs. It takes 18 total, but I purchased a couple of extra. The LEDs I purchased cost .48 a piece and the color is around 5000k matching my LED parking lights. The LED's are 5mm with built-in resistors which made things a lot easier. They are super bright and crisp & clean. Here's a link to where I purchased them from:

5mm 12v Pre-Wired LED White Ultra Bright 15,000 mcd

I connected the LEDS to an ignition hot (+) in the fuse box by the drivers side kick panel so they are illuminated whenever the ignition is on. Looks fantastic day & night.

Thanks. I used "chrome" covered amber turn signal bulbs (front & rear), deleted the amber parking light and added a 5000k parking light. Much cleaner look

What brand, part # and source for chrome cover amber turn signals? I have been using LED turn signals and they are not bright enough for me.

The chrome ones aren't as bright as a regular amber bulb due to the chrome coating, but it gets rid of the yoke and looks cleaner. Here's where I get mine:

Chrome Bulbs Autolumination.com

It's the W21Y T20mm Diameter - Plastic Wedge Base. I believe it's the 7443 for the front and 7440 for the rear.

This is what I use for my front parking light:

Thanks for the info. I actually have the v-leds as the running parking lights. Will give the chrome bulbs a try.

That's hot as hell man! I'd love to do something like that on mine. I got the front LED running lights too, so that may make it look a little better.

Why dont you test the LEDs by reconnecting the battery as opposed to taping all of those little batteries together?

jsl370 12-26-2012 04:27 PM

why do you need the resistors? and why cant i see them in your harness? im no electrician!
