Installing a battery?
I am buying a new battery from advanced auto... this one: AutoCraft Gold Battery, Group Size 35, 640 CCA
their website says it's an exact fit? what do I have to do to make sure I don't screw up my ecu or anything else electrical in the car? thanks!

LOL thanks triples... no I just have heard that with all the electronics in these cars there has to be a very specific way to install the battery? so the ecu doesnt need to be reset or anything?

Oh then you're talking about exchanging while it's running?
but loosing some personal settings and reseting the windows is safer than exchanging while running and taking the chance the pos terminal touches ground and shorts something out because of that isn't worth it if your not careful |

my car's sitting at the stealership right now with some electrical problems and of course the first thing they did was put a new battery in but said there are many more problems. There's no way I'm paying for a battery from nissan when the problems are all warranty related so I'm going to tell them to put the old battery back in and I'm towing it to a different dealership that I trust and putting a battery in myself. These last few weeks have been a nightmare with the navi problems and now electriical problems :/

Yes, and only if you are sure thats you're only problem
having to get charged for the battery and do warranty work for the rest? would be cheaper to just eat the cost of the battery and not replace it with yours then to have them blame the issue on a non oem battery and not warranting the rest of your issues? or do you have aftermarket parts that maybe causing your issue? |

edit: no worries the battery only cost $70 after warranty covered 25% and 1to1 rewards, hopefully my nav parts come in this week so she's back to perfect
