So, how's the vinyl on the projector housings holding up?
Would really like to do something similar, just concerned about the heat cycles.

Thanks!

Its holding good. No fading or peal back. When I wrapped the shrouds I glued the back side. So far hold up perfect.. The halo that I used the epoxy on is loose. The side I used Car Goop is perfect..

Just take your time with the wrap. You might not get the hole thing in one shot. But its not hard at all..:tiphat:

I have looked everywhere for those halos. If you don't mind me asking who makes them?

I have to cut out 1/4 inch to get mine to fit into the shroud like that.. Nice clean look.. Thanks brother..:bowrofl:

Great stuff in this thread.
I have a question about what to do if I have seen moisture in one of my headlights. I didnt seal up my drivers side headlight completely and have noticed moisture in side at times of heavy rain, not much but a little condensation. Could i try to heat up the headlight and press it back together and see if that does the trick?

:tiphat: I would warm the light up, crack the seal and pull it apart. Order some of this:OCI Butyl Rubber Glue - Accessories from The Retrofit Source Inc
You really don't need much but stretch it out and stuff a string of it in the groves. Then warm back up and re-seal. Only way to make sure the seal is good and it doesn't happen again.

Easy way, crack the seal, run blow dryer in the light and close it up. Temp fix doesn't address the seal issue. Unless you sealed it with moisture inside already some how. Hope it helps.

Awesome, always looking for new pics, ideas and methods. This thread is only as good as we make it. Those XBs are nice, I'm planning on redoing mine with them. Can't wait to see your build..

ye im going to do either full flat black or gloss black on the lights and pods, and i ordered the amber halos. So its gona look pretty hellish. You are right about the 70mm being hard to find though. I have to call those guys see when they will get some and send them to me.

wow! blue housing!

Ok so this has become the go-to for headlights haha. So I did single rings, hopefully I'll go dual down the road. First, I need to fix the headlight plastic. Its yellow and nasty and look terrible. Anyone got any advice on how to fix this? Ruins the whole look

Sorry brother,
Mines doing the same thing. I found it was on the inside due to the heat.

That front fascia is nice, I love that look..
