Joe! My kit will be in Tuesday so we can get started on the lights sometime next week. Dave (Dembflyr) already installed demon eyes on mine so you can check them out. I have a switch to toggle red or blue and they turn off by themself if the headlights are turned on.

Sorry for the delay.. I used the Yellow for power and the Black for ground on the parking light. Yellow is only hot when the parking light is on. Some guys have soldered their wires inside the light to keep it all sealed and water proofed. I did mine out side on the Parking light plug.

When you turn your lights on they come on with your lights, turn it one more time and lights go off parking lights and you halos will come on. Thats how I drive during the day. My tail lights are blacked out and hard to see in the daylight, little better now with the flashing 3rd light and F1 light.

Others have ran a power wire from the fuse panel to a switch in the arm rest with a fuse-able link so the could turn them on any time they want with out parking lights.

Hop it helps.

leighspped 10-10-2012 08:24 PM

yup. that actually does now that i think about it. what about if i want to run it as an always on? fuse tap to a 12v source like ciggarette lighter thats always on when cars on?

Amazing DIY and the results are fantastic.

One question, as a sanity check:
For the main projector halos, is that 90mm?

Haven't taken mine apart to measure, so wanted to be sure.

Thanks again!

Yes sir,
90mm for the main, 70mm for the turn signal/G35 lens mod. The 70mm are the hard ones to get for some reason. But the 90mm is a common size, shouldn't have any issues getting them.

Thanks for the props on the DIY, post your pics of you mods for all to see, any wiring ideas that work, and different set ups, materials etc. lets keep the thread going. You guy's are awesome !!!!!
