1. Cut off the stock lens 2. Used a dremel to take a bit more out of the inside 3. Took a hole saw and put some sand paper around it and then just spun it around in the hole by hand to give it a good clean circle and remove the high spots from the dremel 4. Painted the whole shroud For the lens, I put a thin line of epoxy on the very top of the housing. Then very carefully lined up and lowered the lens onto the housing. Then proceeded to epoxy the side of the lens and the housing. There is a very high possibility of screwing this part up and getting epoxy on the inside of the lens. If I had more time, I'd say fabbing up a little metal cover that secures the lens to the housing would be the ideal solution. I'm glad I went with the RGB leds, and I got a cheap little controller for them to select the color, etc. They are a royal pain to solder though. I'll get some video once I install the controller. It's raining now, so we'll see how well my headlights are sealed. If I had to do it over, I'd say a ton of little c-clamps would make resealing the headlights a breeze with a heat gun.

Luner-Eclipse stopped by today and got his lights freshened up. Great color combo; Satin Black w/Color Match Paint from AutomtiveTouchUp 40th Edition Paint Code. I love doing lights for real Z owners. Drives it every day, cool guy, beautiful car. For once, NO LED's....

Hey fellas as I do lights from other makes and models I keep the info on what I used. So if your interested in doing yours or a friends let me know I'll give you what I know. Of course its all at your own risk (Disclaimer). I am no wiring genius I just look for the parking light harness or wire a switch.
Still trying to find the XB style halo's for the BMW's and Lexus. They don't use a circle they have 1/2 moon & Lexus is oblong. Don't like the quality of the kits out there so if anyone has a lead on an RGB or XB style halo in those shapes please share. Thanks

I just wanna say how I am grateful to Joe and Kelly, the coolest tandem ever that could ever work for your car. Was there day and it was one the coolest day ever and productive. I had my headlights done. They also helped me out install my Gen 3 and rear camber kit. It was a 100% satisfaction guarantee!! Looking forward to go back there for the next project..
Here it is.. I love them!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- faya baby!

Rob Faya's car is so sick.... The new Nismo red calipers and black chrome rims really made these lights pop. Faya is an awesome owner which made it easy to do this job..

For you guys using the morimoto angel eyes, are you using a cover for them and of so what kind and size?
I have the 90mm for the front projectors and am having them wired into the DRL. Thanks in advance!

No covers needed with XB's. They are sealed with resin already. Some Halos (RGB Type) are made up of lots of little squares. They need the housing to help focus the light and protect them from the elements. XB's don't need them, only thing I wish would change on the XB's is the color. That yellow/green tint from the LEDs I wish was white. Some colored halos with RGB leds come sealed in resin and don't need casings, there called COB Angle eyes from superbritght.
