Radiator hoses...

Hi, just got some silicone hoses from Z1 Motorsports.
Anyone have a DIY on a quick change over from stock hoses?

Do you just drain radiator and fill when new hoses are in?
Do I look for silicate free coolant?
Or do you need a flush - I only have 10k on my 2010 370Z
so many questions, so little time :tiphat:

Yes.

Get the Nissan Blue coolant and use purified water from your local grocery store.

You probably do not need a flush but as long as you’re down their…

One easy way to do it (assuming your engine is cold) is to idle your engine to get a little heat and then open the flush valve and pour purified water into the radiator cap. The pressure in the system will flush the fluid out of your radiator. However, you will burn your hand and arm trying to close the flush valve.

Actually, you probably should not use this method.

What he said. Although by 'purified' he meant 'distilled'.
