EVO-R fog light install HELP
For those who have done this, please pat me on the head and tell me it will be alright....
I am installing the EVO-R fog light on my 370Z. Please confirm that the only thing that holds the light onto the car is the double-sided tape. I find it hard to believe that the tape does the work of the two bolts on the old dummy housing (which is discarded?). Really? I need to be told it won't fall off when I hit a bump somewhere. TIA. / Greg |

I've had mine on for over a year now with no signs of it peeling or coming off. My car has endured both 125*F+ and below freezing temps, hard rain and wind and sand, and over 30k miles.
It will hold. Just make sure to be through in your prep and you'll do fine.

Dude, you were right! I lost the first one, and just received the replacement I ordered. I won't make that mistake again with the double-sided tape...I am going to use a combination of JB Weld and Gorilla Tape to make sure this one stays on.
Thanks for the tip. |

The ideal solution is to pry the lens of the factory blank housing and drop the new evo r light inside then you can bolt it back in.

I actually went to my local hardware store and picked up 3M double sided tape for outdoor use. I placed the tape on all four sides and used a dissecto knife to remove excess. Of course I cleaned both the light and area were the back light is with alcohol and then placed it. So far pretty so good, I just did mine about a month ago.
