Brian hasn't come up with a cost or even a time frame yet for when he will be able to offer them to the masses. So far only some of us have been given access to them for beta purposes. As soon as he has everyone report back I am sure that he will be on top of this ASAP as he has with everything else to help out our z community! So I think a GB is a little premature......

I ran some errands with the car today, getting out on public streets for the 3rd time this year. Started and stopped it 6 times, and everything is hunky dory.

wasn't much of a chance, but I've just been worried it would happen at Zdayz or worse at a track event and cause me to lose a whole weekend.

great! I can't wait, I'm def in on group buy as well. Having an 09 I too cross my fingers every time I get in my car and my warranty ran out 05/09/2012!

The harness arrived in the mail today and works perfectly.
Putting it in and cutting the wire might take a total of five minutes. I've had the car over three years and I have to say its strange not hearing that lock noise. Its also very nice not hearing that lock noise. Mine had already failed, and I did not want to go through that again. Thanks to everyone who contributed.

The prototype:  The 4 kits that I sent out for testing:  My thoughts for the final kits are to make a single kit that will hopefully work for everyone:  Including those male and female terminal on the brown wire means: - Those who just want to cut the wire can - Those who want something more easily reversible on rare occasions can just reconnect the male/female terminals - And finally those wanting a switch can add one easily without needing to solder or crimp anything.  The price will hopefully be the target price of $50 plus USPS priority shipping at $5.15 to continental US. |
