This was very helpful for taking my bumper off for the first time! Made things so easy.

I note that this was originally posted way back in 2009. Is this still current? And does it equally apply to a late model NISMO bumper?
Thanks.

I believe the general way to remove it is still the exact same. There might be 1 or 2 more bolts to remove from under the car if you have a nismo but its all the same. A couple clips on the top. 1 bolt on each side. And the 8 ish bolts under it. If you have the nismo bumper make sure to disconnect the fog lights before completely removing the bumper.

Yup pretty much the same. Clips on top. Screws underneath. You may have DRLs to disconnect. The screw under the front fender lining and the clips under the headlight are still the same.

I'll be popping this off soon when I paint.

I installed my AAM intakes yesterday. Yes, as stated it was pretty much the same. Install went well.

Yo 😂 my hood cable broke. And its a Nismo so i cant release it through the grill. Can I get the bumper off without opening the hood?

I think the answer is no, due to the screws that secure the top center portion that reside under the front edge of the hood. But, if you release the entire bottom and sides and bend the bumper up, that may give you enough clearance to get to the hood release. Let us know how you solve this please!
