Question: Plastidip on Inside of Wheels?
I am getting ready to black out my wheels with PlastiDip, and have been reading the DIYs on the subject. Only one post refers to doing both sides of the wheel. What's with that?
Seems to me it makes sense to start with the wheel insides first, to get the technique down before tackling the side that really shows. But the insides do show some, so why aren't they mentioned? TIA, and please wish me luck! |

I honestly have no experience with plasti-dip. IMO I wouldnt plasti-dip the inside. Reason being is because its a rubber compound and can be easily removed. If you think about it the inside of the wheel is more susceptible to the brake grime and crud that if it isnt cleaned regularly, hardens and becomes a pain to remove. And it would suck to be washing your wheel and you go to hard and rip some of it off...
Like I said I have no experience with it but thats just my opinion. Good Luck!!! |
