The spoiler I just put on my Roadster came with 4 bolts. Installing all 4 pulled it nicely onto the lid.

I noticed on my factory installed spoiler the left driver side has a small gap where the foam tape is not adhered properly. Will this cause issues?

Spoiler looks clean!!!!! great job! I'd prob pay someone to do that task lol

I just bought a genuine Nissan spoiler just like this, but I bought it from a dealership that sold it cheap for a small chip in the corner that isn't noticeable when it's mounted on the car. My problem is it didn't come with any bolts, clips, gas stays, or the template. Anybody know what bolts I need, or where I could get the gas stays and template? I'd really like to get this wing mounted.

Thanks for the write up, between a combo of this and the instructions got her looking all nice. I found that an electric leaf blower is great for those pesky metal shavings!

Looks very nice. Very brave to dill into your car like that

I'm doing the same to mine at the first of the year except I'm just going to pay the dealer to put it on for me. That way if they screw anything up it's on them. I'm not brave enough to even think about doing some thing like that myself. :hello:

I just purchased this spoiler. I am wondering why you need to replace the gas shocks?

The weight the spoiler adds will stop the base shocks from holding the hatch up. If you don’t replace them it will slowly fall and not keep itself up. It also will likely take multiple button presses to get it to release fully from the latched position.

I just purchased the spoiler yesterday. After reading this Idk i might just install it myself. I don’t feel like paying 270$ for the dealership to install it.

What do you guys think Does $270 sounds abt right for the install of a spoiler?

Thanks!

You're correct. I installed an early model nismo spoiler on my sport and it takes a couple pushes of the button now to unlatch it. I'll be upgrading to heavy duty struts.
