EVO-R Fog light installation

Just installed the Smoked EVO-R fog light!!! buy it here The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts: SALE! EVO-R Rear Fog Flashing LED Kit, 09-12 370Z

It was pretty easy to install. There are 3 big parts included in the installation: taking off the fake plastic piece, taking off the tail light (just one of them), and tap the wires. and of course putting everything back together.

how to take your tail light off and how to take the fake plastic piece off: http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...p-install.html

I did not take any pictures because the above^^ write up is pretty thorough. the only differences is there are three wires, one ground, one parking light, and one flash (i tap it to the brake light wire). There's an instruction tells you what color goes with what color.

I took the whole bracket out for the OEM fog light b/c you don't need it for this fog light, you use 3M double sided tape to tape it on. The tape also comes with the kit. so basically all you need are tools to take stuff apart and cut up the wires. there will be extra wires at the end. you could cut them to a perfect length, or use a wire tie and tie them to something so they don't hang around and melt on your mufflers... I tied mine on the back piece behind the fog light.

I'm sorry i was in a hurry and didn't take any pictures. Let me know if you have any questions!

When ordered from the Z store, does it come with all wiring to complete installation?

Remove Taillight?

1 Attachment(s)
Wires leading to the taillight can be accessed from the trunk (see attached pic). It's a lot of extra work to remove the entire taillight assembly just to tap into the wires. Why bother?
