I did a dry run last night. It truly is as easy as it looks. Great write up AND pictures. Hopefully I'll be getting my new "Red" one today. Z owners are a funny obsessed breed...and I love it every time I do something new to my Z. Enjoy learning new stuff too.

Thanks!

Can AK370Z or some other moderator sticky this??? This is about 500 times easier to do than any other DIY, sorry AK and Sophn... This guy doesn't Ben use a screwdriver to pry the silver and black part off!!!

I did all this and the button works fine but now my car won't honk when I lock the car... Anyone have any idea what could have happened?

Try This

Switching procedure:

To switch the hazard indicator and horn (chime) operation, push the LOCK *1 and UN- LOCK *2 buttons on the Intelligent Key simultaneously for more than 2 seconds.
. When the hazard indicator mode is set, the hazard indicator flashes 3 times.
. When the hazard indicator and horn mode is set, the hazard indicator flashes once and the horn chirps once.

I just did this today too and it took 10 minutes. Nice little mod.
Looks better in person than in photos.
