the senders...

first, i did the water temp.. since i could actually find the pieces locally at a Fastenall (they don't stock any british threads)

bought a 1/8" NPT all female T... 2 NPT male hose barbs.

cut the hose on the longest TB coolant and just put some hose clamps on the barbs.

for the oil pressure sender, i ordered from McMasters... 1/8" NPT to BSPT nipple... 1/8" NTP male x BSPP female fitting.. to go with an extra 1/8" NPT female T that I got from Fastenall.

The OEM oil temp sender is actually M12x1.25 (this car makes no sense)... I was going to just tap the pan, but then found some places that sell our oil drain plug (same size btw M12x1.25) that is already tapped with 1/8" NPT.

You have had this done for a while, any issues at all? Rattles ect...

Also, can you use the buttons on the front of the gauges without them moving? Pretty secure in there?

*Edit* Did this install and I am very happy with how it turned out. No rattles ect.

You don't removed the dash, you cut out the factory gauges. If your going this route, you never intend on putting the factory ones back it.

These are 52mm. They worked perfectly with the factory ring, and I did not have to shave off any tabs which i found increased stability. If your going to do it that way, make sure to prefit everything first. The tabs/caps only line up a certain way.

Good Job on installing the gauges ,I have 52mm Defi gauges that I am doing now I removed the dash though. I wish I would have found this thread, I like the way you used the hose clamp and bracket.

I am going to test out a new bracket this weekend. I'll let you know how it works out, but it should hold the gauges in there a lot tighter. I like tight...

Sorry if I am late on all these posts.. lol.. Anyway, the gauge cluster bracket should only be one or two bolts just behind the cubby (or nav screen in your case). I was working on my stereo and saw the bolt holding the cluster in place. Hope this might help.

you have to remove the entire dash to get the guage cluster out due to a bolt that is impossible to get to otherwise. You can cut it out but considering it only took about an hour to remove the entire dash going slow i wanted to ensure a proper installation. I could remove the dash in about 30 min now no problem. I went with the 52mm guages so the stock ring will fit over them. 60 you will have to do some cutting and such. IMHO the best way is to remove the dash.

the part number is 68236 they are about 20 buck from what I can tell. if you use 60mm guages you will have to grind those off and then attach to the new guages. if you use 52 mm guages the tabs will slide over them and then you can glue them using the tabs as a guide/gluing location.
