Filter Mag, never heard of that. Pretty neat. Also cant believe you are at 180 on a hot day. Im usually around 220, can go up to 230 in traffic :/ How long does it take to warm up to 180 in the mornings?

In the morning. I just let it run for 5 mins. Then driving like 5-10 mins mine go up to 160 then if running about 30 mins just stay 180. Even traffic when I get off from work. On Sam Houston or beltway 8

Also try the filter mag. If u track your car u might go with "RA" version. But of course more expensive. Get filtermag that fit 3.5" to 3.8" and the length just around 2.25"

Oh it's my bad! Actually depends on what filter u ran. If we using same filter then u fine with the filtermag I mentioned above post. Make sure u know what is diameter of your filter.

Nice write up. I did almost the same thing. Had my 19 row on the drivers side as well. Didn't feel like relocating the steering fluid cooler lol.
