So I take it stay away from Craftsman, kobalt, husky etc?

m4a1mustang 02-27-2012 11:34 AM

They are fine.

ZMan8 02-27-2012 11:47 AM

Maybe I'll get one of the pricey ones as 1/2" and one of the cheaper ones for the 3/8" to start off

m4a1mustang 02-27-2012 11:52 AM

Perhaps. Whatever you do don't drop them. That can knock them out of calibration pretty easily.

Yes, I'll be gentle... it will only hurt a little bit... wait... where are we?

kenchan 02-27-2012 11:58 AM

yep, very sensitive and if once you're done, untwist handle to the lowest setting on the traditional type.

Basically, cuddle with it. Maybe light up a cigarette. :rofl2:

I need to buy an inch/lb wrench.

No I haven't. I'm pretty happy with the wrench. I use it to torque the oil filter to the 120 ft lbs nut on the suspension.

I wouldn't buy husky, I've broke their wrench and sockets.

you mean the oil drain plug? ive not heard of many people that use a torque wrench for the filter or plug. when i do the oil change i just tighten it snug tight and that's it.
