So my V1's suction cups became flat after some use in cold weather. it could no longer suction air to support the bracket and detector on the glass.
You can order replacements for a $1 (4pcs) at the valentine one site or... DO AT YOUR OWN RISK! ![]() Step1: Remove suction cups from the bracket. Step2: Get a cooking pot, fill tap water about 3" deep, heat up till water boils. Step3: Drop the 2 suction cups into the boiling water for 10min. - by 10min your cups will turn into a creamy-white color. Step4: Shut off stove, pour cold water into the pot to cool. Step5: Dry suction cups with towel and let it sit for a few hours until it is clear again. Done! ![]() |
