How to access sheet metal "behind" door glass.
As many of you can probably tell, this is really about all I have going on right now. It's big time winter here in Alaska. Have about 4ft. of snow, with temps running around 0. Looking at projects to keep my sanity.
Anyway, have the correct materials to Dynamat my exterior door metal. I have the interior panel off of both doors, along with having gone out 3 times to figure out about removing the window access panel to where I have full access to the inside of the exterior sheet metal. Guess I'm looking at having to actually remove the glass in each door??? I did leave the glass up before I disconnected the battery; am hoping that was the thing to do. Certainly don't want to destroy my car, but I also don't agree with just laying the Dynamat to the panel under the interior trim panel. That just looks wrong!! Would appreciate some easy to understand directions for removing the panel I'm referring to. I already have the speaker and window motor off for the passenger door. Will patiently await the info I'm needing....Happy motoring and thanks in advance.... Appreciatively, Pat C. |
