Accessing inner door panel for Dynamat

Hmm I think I'll attempt RonRizz's method first.. So removing window motor was just a matter of disconnecting its cable and taking out those 3 torx screws?

Similar to Pat C. above, I am also trying to remove the inner grey door panel which lies under the trim to dynamat. Plan is to dynamat both skins of each door.

I've taken off the door trim by removing all those screws you see on the ground, but can't seem to get that inner grey panel off. Above it was mentioned that some rivets need to be removed, are the ones highlighted in my pics the ones being referred to?

If so, how do I remove them? Drill into the center off them and they'll pop off?

Also do I need to take off anything else - including that white mechanism which I suspect to be the power window control?
Edit: That mechanism has some sort of star-shaped heads... Hoping I don't have to remove them but if I do, how would I go about it?

Thanks in advance.
I know I'm asking this almost a decade later, but the 2 items highlighted in your post...did you definitely drill those out and you were good to go? Go through the same issue here.

The issue with this site is that some of these guys haven’t logged on in 5+ years, so the chance of getting a reply back is almost none. I’m trying to get to the bottom of this issue and make a detailed tutorial on how to fix it, as I can’t take it anymore. Join the FB group “Nissan 370z Owners Club (Z34)”, and you will see a lot of tips that aren’t in this thread. I’m in contact with someone who has fixed the issue entirely, but I’m just trying to ensure I have all the steps correct before I go tearing apart my interior.
