from the rotating parts as it breaks in...

is the magnetic drain plug really necessary?

I mean if you already have the filter mag, that seems to take care the job already. A mag plug is overkill, yes?

Probably overkill. But it's cheap and doesn't hurt anything, so why not? The first time you change you oil and wipe a shaving off that plug, you'll the purchase for yourself.

Wonder if someone might want to put a package purchase together for both mags (drain plug) (the strong mag for the filter), Redline oil, Purolator Pure One filter and crush washers. If we got a bunch of us, we should be able to save some major bucks. Hopefully we could find one supplier and we could order it from them as a package deal. That away the forum wouldn't have to have any sales licenses but they would get in big time with the supplier....everyone wins....

It could be the "the370z.com" special

I would do it but I don't know the suppliers...

Just a thought

Thx in advance

how do you plan to do that?

turn the engine on, drive off the ramp, while there's no oil?

uhm, lower the jack/jackstands if you aren't using ramps..... or neutral and push (with someone in the car hovering the brake.

project: it's not worth worrying about, just take what oil you can get
