Demon Bolt.....

IMO, it's best to use some high-temp sealant whenever you do exhaust work. Helps to cut down on exhaust leaks. I had a leak between the test pipe and header

IMO, it's best to use some high-temp sealant whenever you do exhaust work. Helps to cut down on exhaust leaks.

I had a leak between the test pipe and header and needed to tighten it more about a week after install. Even though you have a gasket in there, it doesn't necessarily mean the bolts are torqued down to the spec required to keep leaks from happening. The sealant will help fill in those tiny gaps if you have any.
