Just finished installing this. Write Up made it really easy. I took my time so it took a couple hours. Hardest parts for me were removing the bolt from the bottom of the linkage and removing the white cup from the stock shifter.
I found that pulling down on the shifter from under the car (ie compress the spring like when reversing) it made it more accessible to get the socket on the bolt head. To remove the white cup I found that adding new grease made it come off easier. Funny enough getting the dust boot back on was the easiest part of this install and took me 30 seconds. The key is starting from the front and using two hands to pull around on both sides. Haven't driven it yet so I cannot comment on that.

I hung around with Z34_nismo and he did his ST shifter. Can't wait till I'm able to get mine.

I picked up a TWM short shifter from a fellow forum member this weekend and will be tackling this soon. Seems like just about every question has been asked and answered, so
![]() However, I was wondering if you guys had to jack up the car to get to the underside of the shifter assembly? Being a big fat a$$, I am concerned whether I can get far enough under the car to reach the linkage without jacking it up ![]()
