DIY steel driveway ramps
Well my driveway has always been curb-like. It has a giant speed bump basically. I could never get my Z up in my driveway, especially since I'm lowered and have the FI exhaust. I ended up buying (2) steel plates 12"W x 24"L x 3/4"Thick from my local steel shop.
Here are the finished pictures. Works great. If anyone has the same situation and would like an actual DIY, I can make one. Just wanted to share!

Haha, that's pretty awesome. I have the same sort of driveway, and it sucks. Did you attach them to the ground somehow, or do you just put them out every time? Seems like it would be a pain to do that.

No they are bolted down with lag bolts into concrete anchors. They are really heavy too, around 50 pounds each. I just leave them there. I bolted them down so nobody steals my ****.

Does the chin spoiler make contact with the curb before the tires begin on the ramps.. ? HOA would not let that fly in this hood... But luckily my drive is not bad..

I don't have the sport package so I don't have the front chin spoiler. But I have at least 1 1/2" of clearance with these ramps. We don't have a HOA here so for that I'm grateful.

Regardless I didn't bolt into anything public. The bolts are drilled on my own property line in my driveway so even if we did have a HOA I'd likely tell them to go **** themselves!

Our HOA here trips when I leave the garden hose in the yard for more than a day... Ugh... Oh well at least nobody will be parking their car in the front yard in my neighborhood..

What will the street sweepers say? Don't think the city will allow that.

Street sweepers never come on my street. The ramps are pretty low profile actually and they barely stick out that far. Plus I've had this set up for almost 3 months so I'm good.
