Here is what may be the 'straight' issue. I did not use my original wheel, but another one that was used by the guy who made my new wheel. I think that the scribe marks may have been put on after the steering wheels were put on at the factory and hence are unique to each car. I put my new wheel on again and despite the fact that the lines are slightly unaligned, the wheel now seems straight... The horn is still not working though!
