video camera recorder needs a power source
I'm thinking of installing a car video camera recorder for my Z. it's a tiny camera which fits snuggly behind the rearwheel mirror. The camera needs a power source, so i'm thinking of looping the wire along the windshield through the drivers side's edge(frame or whatever you call it)
the thing is if i open the plastic cover, will it damage the airbag or will the bag pop out? sorry i've never done this before so i have to be cautious. |

If the wire is a small enough gauge, you should be able to press it behind the cover with your finger and a screwdriver. Just being careful not to scratch the windshield or A pillar post.
