I am not saying that your kit wont work but (in my humble opinion)... if I am running Nos I want it to be a SAFE as possible. I was willing to pay the extra $130 for more failsafes to protect the motor.

Hope it goes well for ya and wish you all the best.

Are you talking to me? You are correct about the switch, thats why you pick up a TPMS when you order the kit. Zex is only kit that comes with the built in switch, but the problem with the zex kits is that they come with some of the smallest solenoids on the market so a 125 shot is pushing the solenoids limits, but imo I think its ok.

Sorry for going a little off topic here. The kit looks good and looks like you shaved some time off your runs. Some drag radials and practice will have you in the mid-low 12's I would hope.

After my mods. and 100 shot I plan to be breaking into the mid to high 11s. I was expecting more on that 75 shot kit he has but considering he has minimal mods and no tune I guess it was okay. Practice makes Perfect.

Great job on the time man. I think I'm gonna order this kit next. I'm excited to see what I could do with same mods but with the ark type 2 exhaust. Still subscribed...

Thanks for the feedback guys. I do need to work on my times... practice makes perfect. Will say I was trying to go for a clean install that hid the components.

I installed the heater and purge kit. Will post pics soon.

Nice, would really like to see what he can pull of on a fully bolted and tuned Z

Ordering my kit today....

Was the install hard? I want to attempt to do this with my uncle who is a great mechanic but scared to do it since its my first install with Nitrous...

Big J 04-16-2011 12:16 AM

Nitrous is not a difficult thing, don't let all the negative hype(usually from pople who have never used it) scare you away.

JC671 04-17-2011 02:57 AM

Ordered my entire kit on the 6th of April:happydance: Just waiting for it to come in with my purge kit,

I'll post results....

Big J 04-17-2011 11:12 AM

From where? Why is it taking so long to come in?

JC671 05-01-2011 03:36 AM

Any updates?

To the OP, I pmed you about some things.. I've had my kit in but installing later this weekend.. I also got the nitrous purge kit.. My question is I plan to run the 100 shot jets but it says I need to retard timing by 4 degrees??? How did you do that or how do I do it?

One_Quick_Z 05-01-2011 04:02 AM

Yes you need to take a few deg of timing off and also run 1 step colder plugs If you are going to run a 100-shot personally I would also get an UpRev Tune to make sure everything is running how it should be..... thats what I did on my old 06 350Z

Thanks for the reply Dan, but how do you exactly take timing off on the 370z? I don't have the uprev or another piggy back to do it with. How can I adjust without it? Please elaborate.. I plan on running the Zex plugs when they come in but any particular plug I can get before that arrives? I plan on running two steps colder just in case..

Though the N/A I don't understand b/c stock you should be running lower in the 13s but your trap speed wasn't there. With a couple of mods already you should already be 13 flat at least. What tires do you plan to go with? Def. get a tune to see if your running lean or something b/c both slips should have been better. Where are you located? What is your elevation above sea level. Now I am not saying that I am the best driver in the world I am just simply pointing out what the car is capable of. I hope you do better next time buddy.

40th's produce 332hp...only 1 that produces thre 350hp is da Nismo...same motor, just a different tune on the ECU. Anyways, his location, elevation level and sea level must be a contributing factor...Out herein Guam I can only hit low 14's with basic bolt-ons...Bone Stock 370's do mid to high 14's, and one with a GTM TT Kit hit 13.8 this past weekend....Really sucks cuz we see all these Low 13's and High 12 times on the forum with cars that have the same mods, but we will never hit those numbers due to our locatiion.

Good looking setup. I ran a Zex kit on my 2000 Maxima back in the day.
